We are finally getting ahead of the pain which is good. He wanted a lot to drink last night finally which is also good. He's really into water and apple juice, which is just fine. Ian's surgery went well. He had some breathing issues but it wasn't anything too serious. The doctor said it was good we had the surgery done apparently his tonsils were huge and his adenoids pretty massive as well. Coming out of the anesthesia was..difficult..but third time's a charm. Tomorrow morning at 7 AM we report to the hospital. Our neighbor is coming over in a few minutes to help Bruce give Ian a blessing. Nervous but optimistic. We had a blast today at TITP. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

So Ian has been calling Dasani "Farscape water" I couldn't figure out what he meant. So today I asked him when he pointed it out again. And he said "the S mom". So Monday we went to baby animal days at This is the Place with renishas and it was a blast! We also got our garden planted. Then Tuesday the boys and I did some cleaning and focused on some school work. We've started doing "homework breaks". Which means I clean the kitchen then we have a "homework break". So Thursday I leave for Oregon for 10 days. Ian is coming with me and Connor is staying here. Luckily Bruce can work from home so he doesn't have to take very much vacation time. I am sooo tired. Ian has actually slept through until 5 AM two nights in a row but my quality of sleep has been such that he might as well have been up all night. Ian had his 18 month checkup to day and was in the 55% for weight (his chunks are gone..which I know healthy but still sad to see his babyness go away). And off the charts in height. No seriously he's 18 months old and 35 1/2 inches tall. I'm not kidding. They measured him twice. Yeah that's how tall Connor was at 2 years old. Connor is tall ( Read more... )
